Gearing Your Superannuation Fund
|
Australianbiz is pleased to have an association with CSA Capital who specialise in providing loan products for self managed superannuation funds (SMSF’s), businesses and investors.
The Superannuation Industry Supervision Act (SIS Act) was amended on 24 September 2007 to allow SMSF’s to borrow for the purpose of acquiring certain assets, so long as the asset is held in a special trust. The major types of assets that a SMSF can gear through this special trust includes real estate, listed shares, artwork and any other asset that the fund is permitted to acquire according to its investment strategy and the SIS Act.
CSA Capital has a range of products that allows SMSF’s to borrow for the acquisition of residential and commercial property and also can provide trustees with the relevant documentation that is required to comply with the SIS Act. These products are suitable for existing SMSF’s and for individuals who setup a new SMSF.
Trustees need to be careful of products that require personal guarantees from the members as the ATO is currently of the view that the loans need to be "non-recourse".
Simply complete all the items below and then click on the "Submit" button. A consultant from CSA Capital will then contact you within 2 business days.
